MLC DSS

The 60-Button Direct Station Selection (“DSS”) Console is a great time saver for users that do a lot of call processing (such as operators or dispatchers). DSS feature provides a display keyset with a 60-button Busy Lamp Field (BLF) and single button access to extensions, trunks, and selected system features. Each key is enhanced by Answer, Release, and Transfer fixed function. MLC DSS Console is available on Windows MLC and Android OS running on Smartphones and tablets with add on features for hospitality, call center solution, etc. as per NEC Univerge SV PBX capabilities.

Once the feature is activated in LMS, the administrator can enable the feature for any user from the Customer Management portal and also configure with defaults. Once the feature is enabled in MLC, a drawer is added that contains 60 DSS console keys. User can open /close the drawer manually while any event opens DSS window automatically. DSS Console Window is attached to current MLC Window in Windows. The window has rectangle flexible design with NxM keys where N = Number of rows and M = Number of Columns. User is able to move the DSS console independently of the MLC phone Window. Also there ia a facility to set DSS console “Always on top”. If not set the DSS console window behaves the same as MLC phone window. Typically PBX sets up with Hotline keys to extensions and 14 feature keys for quick access to Page, Park and the system Night Mode.

Currently available on Windows and Android.
